About Us

Stepping Stones is a non-profit organization committed to providing hope for pregnant and parenting teens in and around the Edmonton area.  Our programs provide a powerful sense of belonging through valuable friendships, and a chance to learn fundamental life skills like parenting, budgeting, nutrition, cooking/baking, and goal setting.  We are there for the long-term, helping young families raise their children in a safe and supportive environment - making a lasting difference in their lives.

What makes Stepping Stones unique from other "teen parent programs" is that we are fundamentally relational, something we believe to be critical in helping youth make positive and long-lasting changes in their lives.  Mentoring is at the heart of what we do.  Our holistic approach works to ensure that the moms in our program create stable foundations, not only for themselves, but for their children as well.

Stepping Stones is a part of Edmonton YFC/Youth Unlimited.  Youth Unlimited is a faith-based charity that believes in the unlimited potential of youth.  It is committed to helping the youth of Edmonton develop holistically, both personally and spiritually, by providing caring people to whom they can turn.
