What We Offer

Stepping Stones offers several different programs and services for pregnant and parenting teens:

Mentoring: Providing one on one emotional and practical support, including driving to doctor's appointments, guidance for getting a job, helping with day to day life, and crisis care.

Parenting & Life Skills: Including supports for breastfeeding, parenting, discipline, budgeting, nutrition, cooking/baking in our kitchen, and goal setting.

Resource Connections: Support and guidance for accessing other community services and organizations (Health for Two, etc.)

Care Closet: Our Care Closet is stocked with maternity clothes, baby clothes, diapers, formula, etc., as well as post pregnancy clothing!

The Basic Shelf: A 12-week cooking course designed to provide food security and cooking skills. *the next cycle of the Basic Shelf begins March 15* Please visit The Basic Shelf main page or contact us if you are interested in participating in the next cycle!

Weekly Groups:  Come out to our weekly group to discuss many different parenting issues, as well as building great friendships with other moms! (we meet every Thursday, alternating early and late groups. Please visit the Event Calendar for more information)

Community: Build genuine friendships with other pregnant and parenting teens through scrapbooking, discussion groups, and special events!

Labour & Birth Support: We provide caring and certified doula services.
